Police are investigating the death of an infant who was found dead outside Yorktown Mall.
A police source tells WGN-TV a teenager gave birth to a premature baby at her uncle’s apartment in Glendale Heights Thursday.
On Friday, the girl reportedly put the baby in a bag, and left it in the trunk until she threw it in a dumpster at the mall.
On Saturday, the teenager went to the doctor with complications and revealed what happened.
The doctor called police, and the baby was found dead in the dumpster.
No charges have been filed.

Excuse me Am I to understand that no charges have been filed !?!? Hopefully there will be charges ? It is very sad to think this baby was "dumped" and no one cares. If anyone in authority cared, charges would be filed. Charges NEED to be filed. What a sorry shame our country views children in this manner. New borns, babies, toddlers, children They are abused daily, killed daily and this is how they are viewed. We need to reevaluate ourselves as a society if we continue to allow this. A baby is dead, tossed out like garbage…that definitely deserves charges to be filed. Shame on those who think otherwise.
