Midday Fix: Raspberry sauce for your cookie fries
The Cookie Joint
1 pint fresh raspberries
1/4 cup white sugar
3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 Tablespoons corn starch
1 cup water
Over cooktop, start with 1 pint of fresh raspberries, add 1/4 cup white sugar, 3 Tbs of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Mix 2 Tbs of corn starch in 1 cup of water and add to saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. When mixture comes to a boil, turn down heat and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Continue stirring. Remove from heat and strain over bowl to removes seeds. When Sauce cools down to room tempeture, pour in container and refridgerate.
