Planned Parenthood is going to court to challenge a Wisconsin abortion law.
Doctors who perform medication-induced abortions could face possible criminal charges under the law that took effect last April. It requires doctors and patients to take a series of steps, including verification that the patient is having the procedure voluntarily.
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin stopped offering medication-induced abortions when the law went into effect. It still offers surgical abortions at its clinics in Milwaukee, Madison and Appleton.
