Sentencing in the Christopher Vaughn murder case was delayed Monday while the judge considers granting him a new trial.
Vaughn was convicted back in September of murdering his wife and three children.
His attorney’s main argument in asking for a new trial claims jurors were so outraged over press conferences held by Drew Peterson’s lawyers, they were prejudiced against all criminal defense lawyers.
The judge said he’ll decide Tuesday whether Vaughn deserves a new trial or if he’ll proceed with sentencing.
