Medical Marijuana: A Burning Debate

The issue of medical marijuana  has lead to a burning debate among lawmakers.

Some say it’s an illegal drug and the law would lead to abuse, others believe it`s a legitimate painkiller.

Then there are people with chronic pain who already use marijuana illegally.

They hope the state will remove the stigma and the penalties for what they call medicine.

    This is going to be one long debate. On one hand, it can't be denied that marijuana has a load of medicinal uses. On the other, the stuff still has that nasty substance abuse history. We'll just have to see how things turn out.
