Established in 1898, stunning Principia College sits up high on the river bluffs of Elsah, Illinois – just a half-hour drive from St. Louis.

One of America’s greatest architects, Bernard Maybeck, designed many of the school’s buildings and chapel in the 1930’s.  He believed that buildings should be in harmony with the landscape.

Today, people come from all over the world to see the stunning campus, which is on the National Register of Historic places.
